Pintando Santa Catarina Palopó, an initiative that seeks to use art as a tool to create a sustainable impact in Santa Catarina Palopó, Guatemala. 

The project consists in painting 950 facades of the houses with a color pallet and patterns inspired by indigenous textiles, using the antique and contemporary huipil and the point of start, to create this giant installation.

This initiative lead by Harris and Melissa Whitbeck is transforming the life of more than 5000 inhabitants of Santa Catarina Palopó, creating a sustainable community out of tourism.
